why? what's the difference between it and the PNP kit? from what i read, the only difference is that the PNP has a connector and the other i have to solder the wires to the car's loom

It just can't.

I could turbo a miata for cheaper then 98% of the people on this site, including you. It took me 10 years to get to the point of being able to do that. The biggest thing is knowledge, which you do not have. How do I know that, because you are asking questions that are easily answered.

Yes the MS2 kit you asked about will work, but there is a ton of things that make it much harder to build then going with the DIYPNP. With the questions you have asked I know you have not looked at the MegaManual yet. Being able to solder is only a small part of building the MS. Knowing what circuits are needed for the miata is a big part. Do you know what steps to not due because they are not needed?

so what do you recomend that i buy? the DIY PNP, the MS complete or do i have to buy the MS PNP? i really don't want to spend 800$ on a ECU

aidandj 11-01-2015 07:53 PM

Do research and figure out for yourself if you can build the MSII. There are guides, and instructions. But if we just tell you yes you can do it. You probably can't.

I built my own MS3, but I did a lot more research than you have. I think one of my first posts was actually asking about it.

Hey look I found it.

Holy shit, @Monk was the first person to respond to me on mt.net.

Fucker, why didn't you beat the 1.8 swap into me.

How much more is a MS3 kit over the Ms2, because I'm pretty sure it's less than a diypnp even if you buy a fancy boomslang.

Ms2 sucks peen, I will sell you mine for $400 so I may buy a MS3. You just have to wait till I build my Ms3...

the ms2 is good enough for a 200 whp build for what i can tell right?

is yours a PNP? i might buy it as long as it's working, i don't want to happen to me what happned to Marty from MCM that bought one from some forum and turned out to be broken

deezums 11-01-2015 09:08 PM

Yes, mine is a diypnp with full sequential fuel and digital wideband i/o, plus obd2...

The ms2 works great, it just doesn't do anything more than exactly what you need for 200whp, or more. I'm bored with it. I want boost by gear/speed, more IO, seq ignition, and a bunch of other shit. Sd logging, USB, fuck serial and it's 1960's fucking tech.

If you buy mine you have to wait till I buy and build a MS3 with the money, that's how you know mine works, I need it still. I will be ripping my ECU connector off my stock ECU to make Brian cry :giggle:

aidandj 11-01-2015 09:24 PM

Build an ms3 deezums its so damn easy. Do it. Do it. Do it now.

Get a free sample of the connector. I've done that 4 times now.

snitram 11-01-2015 09:46 PM

does your's comes with the wideband?

but are you saying that i would pay you first and with the money you would buid the MS3 and only after that you would send me it?

deezums 11-01-2015 09:52 PM

Yes, it would take less than a week. You would need to buy an innovate wideband.

i don't know man, how can i trust you? that's a lot of money for me and you would have to ship it to Portugal

deezums 11-02-2015 12:11 AM

It's pretty easy, you either do or you don't. :dunno:

If you had half a brain you'd spend about another week or two reading everything you can find about assembling a megasquirt, any of them.

Then you'd buy a MS3.

Because we say you can. He's an asshole, just like the rest of us, but he does what he says.
I have personally bought from him before.
I'm a little surprised he is taking the risk of selling to you honestly.

snitram 11-02-2015 08:15 AM

i don't have much time to read a lot of stuff because i have to study but i will give you an awnswer today or so, but you have to be willing to ship it to Portugal, also, what are the shiping costs can you tell me?

i don't want an MS3 bacause 200whp will already be a lot for our small twisty roads

You dont want MS3 because it costs more than $50 and that's about 5 months of allowance for you.

The only one crying in this thread is me.

The MS8 is only good for a couple of kilowatts. MS8 That said, it's autotune feature is killer.
