MSLabs MS3 basic base map running ultra rich

1 Attachment(s)
I have a MSLabs MS3 basic v3.2 that im running MS firmware 1.5.2 on in order to support my 14point7 Spartan 3 . There were minimal errors on loading the 1.4.0 firmware based tune, so I figured I was good to go. Everything seems to be working well, except for the base map VE table is super rich. Like 9.5 afr under load. I drove the car after fulling warming it up and getting idle tuned (idle was very close out of the box). I quickly realized that something was off while running auto tune during an easy first drive.

I want to note that I previously had a Speeduino in the car, which the only other hardware difference being the wideband, and I was easily able to get fueling on point. This leads me to believe its not a hardware / mechanical issue.

Im running Flow Force 640cc injectors with only a few hundred miles on them (if even that much). I used the fuel calculator to change required fuel.

Here are my injector dead time settings:

I will also attach a copy of my tune. I appreciate any help I can get.

A base tune should error on being rich. Much safer than lean, and every car is different.

Now you have to tune the VE table for your car. Sounds like you have made your first pass.

Note: have you verified the calibration of the 14point7 with respect to the MS3? If not, do that first.

The 14point7 wideband is connected via CAN bus so, to my understanding it does not require calibration. I figured out after messaging mslabs, that the calibration for the map sensor was off. I imagine something happened with the default sensor selection when i loaded the tune that was made for an older firmware. Now that I selected a calibration that is at least close, its working almost perfect. Way better than all my previous stand alone ECUs

Got you on the CAN. Sure, that is why you wanted the 1.5.2. Glad Dimitris was able to help you. I did not think about that, although it happened to someone else recently.
