MSPNP not working with AEM wideband

Hi Guy,

I recently installed an MsPNP Gen 1 into my 94 with deleted AFM! Everything works fine until I hooked up my AEM wideband. I had the OEM O2 disconnected as told. My AEM gauge shows reading as normal. But as soon as I tapped the white wire to the original O2 wire (2N Red/Blue), the engine would lean out and stall. I also tried to tapped to the optional #10 plug, same thing happened. I am using the based map. Configuration is set to AEM Linear wideband O2. I don't know what else is wrong...

Any idea guy, or is my MS dead? I bought it new from DIYAUTOTUNE.COM like 2/3 years ago when it was on sale. I didn't have time to do it till recently.

Oh, on the AEM white wire, it shows normal voltage like 2.3x or so.

I am out of clue, please help... I had done this installation at least a few times on my friends... But I never saw one like this before... I just can't get the wideband running right this time... Anything I should check?

The worst is... this is actually for my own!!! haha

Can you post an MSQ and a data log of the problem? It sounds like some sort of tune issue.

I am using AEM Wideband 30-4100, if you need to know. And here's the msq and log. I had the wideband unplugged while started, and it leaned out and stalled as soon as I plugged in the write wire from AEM Wideband to the (2N Red/Blue) ECU.

Finally, something appears to be wrong with the barometric
correction. The barometric correction is acting up on me. Right now, I need to figure out how to fix this barometric correction thing... :vash:

you mean like turning it off?

ISRmiata 07-12-2013 12:28 PM

Yes, any idea? I had to turn that off

Braineack 07-12-2013 12:39 PM

sounds like the issue is solved.

ISRmiata 07-12-2013 12:43 PM

What do you mean by "the issue is solved"? Don't I need the barometric correction??

At MT.net we just love people who are too lazy to RTFM. Have you tried?

And if you answer with 'yes' and want some help, there'd better be a link to the manual page you read on the subject.

And your analysis of why it's not helping.
