MSPNP Q`s

MSPNP on a 90, installed and fired it up as per MSPNP manual, but idle dips and refuses to idle at all with a/c on, the car ran perfectly with the stock ecu.

also...when setting my base timing as per instructions, the Trigger Degree (angle) at 65 was spot on for my 10d at the engine crank wheel....when i increase the number in Trigger degree to say 67..it reads 13d at the crank but still read 15d on Megatune, is it correct that the higher the number at trigger degree the lower the number at the crank wheel?

I`ve had to increase the idle speed screw at the throttle body and its helped in the idle dip but still stalls with a/c, and finally Megatune seems to keep reseting itself every 3-5 minutes....what could be wrong?

there's something in the manual about the AC on when coming to a idle. read it up.

The Trigger Angle is a software equivalent of moving the CAS around - you should set it so the timing is spot on, then leave it there.

Do you have a lightweight flywheel? You may need to adjust the closed loop idle dashpot settings, as they're meant for a stock motor.

MegaTune resetting could either be a communications issue with the PC, or a noise problem. If you could get a data log of the resets and post it here or email it to me, I'll have a look at it.

Matt, no I do not have a lightened flywheel and you may want to check with Jerry as I sent him a log on my idle issue with the a/c before it reset itself.
