MSPNP: Taking car for tuning, any specific areas to address?
 

I'm taking my turbo miata for tuning in a few weeks, and wondered if there are any specific items that I should have the tuner address? I'm running MSPSP and tune via tunerstudio. The car has a built 1.9L engine, and is running a 2560 turbo. I'm planning on capping it at 18psi and 8,000 RPM(guessing that is where it will be running out of breath). Just curious if there are any items specific to the megasquirt that I should make sure the tuner looks at.

Tune VE yourself as best you can. Don't spend money on a tuner/dyno for that- VEAL is doing a great job. Have the tuner focus on ignition timing alone. Dramatic changes in timing *may* lead to changes in fueling requirements, but that should be minor.
Everything else you should already have tuned and set up properly before you go.

Unfortunately time and open space is not at a premium for me. I have done the VE tuning for just driving around, and keep it on when I am driving it, but I really don't have anywhere to do high speed/boost runs, hence going to the tuner. I am going to have him cover all possible aspects of the tune/driving situations.
