MSPNP2 MM9495 boost solenoid wiring

HI all, simple question, which because I'm a noob I've just confused myself with a bunch of searches.

I just got a MSPNP2 MM9495 and am planning my install. I've looked at a couple install guides, and the one at trubokitty.com mentions running the EBC solenoid into the MAF connector, but everywhere else I read mentions wiring to the DB26 connector pin 7. I'm assuming running the wiring as per trubokitty is the way to go, and that it's specific to the Miata version of the ECU and is all taken care of inside the box, where as the other info is more generalised.

Am I right, or do I need to run to pin 7 of the option connector and just take the 12Vs from the MAF connector (or other convenient switched 12V)?

Thanks in advance. I'm excited to have found these excellent resources to get another boosted MX5 on the road!

The easy way on the MSPNP is to just run one wire to pin 6 and one wire to pin 7. There's enough current capability on pin 6 to power a boost solenoid.

The MSPNP does not bring boost control wiring to the MAF connector. That's a quirk of the truboKitty adapter harnesses.
