Multiple Fuel VE table questions.

Greetings,

I have my 1994 running stock exhaust, larger injectors, and a MSLABS MS3X basic.

When I go into the Tune Analyze Live! tab, I have both a Fuel VE table 1(goes up to 240kPa) and a Fuel VE table 3 (goes up to 100 kPA).

I am trying to tune the car NA before I throw the MK Turbo kit on it and have been having it autotune both of these tables and the car is running great.

My concern is should I have only been tuning the Fuel VE Table 3 (100kPa fuel load) while NA and then autotune the Fuel VE Table 1 (up to 240 kPa) only after installing the turbo?

I am happy to start over and only tune the Fuel table 3 if need be, I just want to be sure I understand the relationship between these tables before I change anything.

Thanks in advance,
Ben

Your car should only be using VE Table 1 for fueling. You'll only use the bottom half of the map until you get the turbo on. Once you're turbo you'll start getting into the 100+ kpa portion of the map. If you're planning to turbo just stick with the table you have now that goes to 240kpa. There's plenty of resolution for a n/a tune and it'll be a pain to rescale everything later.

The only reason you'd want to use VE Table 3 is with flex fuel, or a dry nitrous shot, or something like that. I use VE Table 1 for 93 octane and VE Table 3 for E85, then use flex blending to blend between the two tables.
