Default omfg i soldered something again

Thanks to Scots faq and chads handholding i implemented EBC on my ms1 last night due to rain and work i have yet to test it but i hope it does well. Atleast i know i havent done any obvius damage to the unit. No pics sorry chad swore me to secrecy after i refused to attach the wire into the db37 cause it meant taking it apart and more soldering. But i will say one more hole in the case doesnt seem to hurt anything And i only burnt myself once during the entire ordeal.

Don't forget to wrap that bitch up in electrical tape. Shrink tubing is for sissys.

well it isnt workin as of now:( troubleshooting in progress fwiw i tried everything from 0-100% dc and had no change i plugged my vac and disconected the wg and hit 20 [so no problem so the issue is either the ecu, software, valve, or user here.

Well upon review of online material via this forum etc i am still at a loss
So far i i know
connections are good in MS
i used the right components putting it together
i put them in the right spots
and judging from the posted settings i have the right values going on.
So how do i check for a bad valve guys?

Make sure you don't have a 100K ohm resistor instead of the required 100 ohm resistor. For a good long while DIY was sending out 100k ohm resistors instead on accident I assume.
You can test your valve with any 9 - 12volt source. Use a couple wires and tap the leads to the solenoid, it should click on and off as you touch the wires to it.

You did use the mica insulator right?

Solved the porblem was 12 volt signal issue now it all works well, but upon further testing it seems my 2nd stage selonoid has failed on my WI system making me spray 5 gph all the time the pump is on this is bad. So next project is to figure out why the selonoid failed and try another different one.

Question, should the resistor be the "10k 1/4w 5% carbon" Which has colors gold orange black brown?
