My MS3x build questions... done and now with pics
O.K. build is finished - built the 2nd baro circuit, alternator control circuit, the alternator warning light and the EGT circuit. Everything is mounted and cuts in the housing are made... gonna post pics tomorrow.
As Frank mentioned in his "How-to" - the hex-standoffs for the MS3 daughtercard are ~2mm too long, so the USB port won't fit into its hole... Apart from that I can only give the biggest kudos to Frank - as the Howto is perfect. |
Are they on top of a FET?

well... yes ...ahhhh - so if there is a FET on this spot you have to cut the standoff shorter...makes sense, as there also could be no FET in this spot.

k. was curious. i made that mistake once, but i have a few different sized standoffs...I acutally have to stack a few washers between the standoff and ms3 board.
