NA93 OEM sequential injection .. and MS3 Basic

I was trying to wire up my fuel harness for wequential injection today and noticed that my wiring is way different than other NA harness. Quick googling shows that this must be a 93 CA specific car with OEM sequential fuel already. COOL.

Problem is ... I'm using Reverant's MS3Basic and .. Reverant has disappeared. After months of no-reply, I've given up on getting any answer from him .. so my question for you guys are:

1. Since my sequential injector is wired through the OEM harness, how can I check to see if Rev already provisioned for that in MS ? I highly doubt it as I just told him my car was a 93 so he probably assumed non sequential.

2. Should I just remove my signal wire for 2 and 4 from going to the OEM harness and splice it to the injector input wires from MS ?

if it's not already wired up for it, it could be easily done with internal mods to his MS3 Basic.

dont splice wires. your injectors are already wired all the way back to the MS, so finish the connection there :P

All the 90-95 boards are the same from Rev, he just has jumpers to select for the differences (TPS, fuel pump, inj3/4, fan, etc) and the 93CA cars are wired the same as 94-95. If it was configured as a standard 90-93 from Rev, inside your box, you'll need to move the jumpers at JP10 and JP11 to the dual-dot position to enable sequential fuel on that car. It won't actually start if you don't do this. :)

Thanks to both of you.

The car does starts now so based on your post I think maybe Rev did setup for sequential then. I'm surprised but maybe he just assumed I'm in CA so I'll have a 93CA. I'll crack into the case and double check that tomorrow.

no he was just smart about the way he designed his board...

I opened up the board today and it was pretty cool. Amazing how something appears so simple ( compared to something like a motherboards ) but is at the same time so complicated.

Anyways, I found the JP10 and JP11 pin. For JP10 it looks like I can move it 1 pin over to the double dot. For JP11, the jumper is sitting on 1 pin. I assume I need to rotate it 90 deg so it connects both pin ? Or do I just move it over to the other pin ?

I want to clarify before doing that just in case so I don't accidentally shorts something.

If I'm understanding this correctly, this enable sequential fuel in the MS hardware but I'll still need to tell it that I'm using sequential injection using settings similar to Braineack's in this post ?

you want to make it so it connects like this:

that's connecting the two extra fuel drivers to the harness positions for those injectors.

in software change (basic settings) semi-sequential to fully sequential.

Woo hoo ? I swapped the jump to complete the path as you outlined to the pin on the connector .. then matched that pin to the corresponding wire on the harness .. its the same 2 extra wires that I have on my injector harness. Everything makes sense now!

Go into MS, and note that previous setting was 'Off'. Started the car to confirm it work still .. cool it worked. Changed setting 'Full Sequential'. Started the car .. still works still. No difference at all in regard to idle smoothness so its a bit anti climatic but that's good I suppose. I'll let Andrew mess with the rest of those settings when he tunes my car. :)

Thanks again for both of your help.
