NB doesn't start after ms3pro pnp
 

Hi I'm brand new at ECUs and Tuning. After installing MS3PRO PNP and AEM UEGO 03-300, I did the trigger angle/offset and set the fixed advance back to Use Table. I calibrated TPS but none of the others (this could be an issue?).

I watched the first four videos from Pedxing and was starting to try idle tuning. The first time I tried to start, the engine started a little slower than normal but caught after a couple seconds. After looking at the AFR and oval indicator on some of the tables, I killed the engine and tried to start again. The second and subsequent times I tried to start, I got an unexpected noise while cranking. There's maybe three normal cranking sounds, then a deep thunk, then three cranking sounds again then another thunk. The engine also doesn't catch. I logged one of these attempts and attached it with my current tune.

Also I should mention I started with a basemap from mspropnp and not trubokitty since I wasn't sure if ms3.x was different from ms3pro

The MS3Pro PNP will ship with its own base map, and you are correct that trying an MS3X map can cause more trouble than it solves. I'd check to be sure the outputs are working in output test mode, and given that you're getting a thunk while cranking, check if there's anything mechanical going on.

If you are describing kickback through the intake, then there is too much fuel. I pulled fuel from ASE, WUE, and cranking pulse. I eliminated priming pulse below 50.

Starting and cold idle is where I have spent the bulk of my time trying to figure things out. Its turned into a sickness.
