Default car starts! unusually high req_fuel, VE tables, no cooling fan :(

Finally got the car started after playing with TS settings:

things that are concerning me are:

low fuel pressure at idle (about 32 psi from my inline gauge), but I installed a new Walbro 190lhp

My injectors are EV14 850cc, and from the calculator my fuel_req should be 3.6. I can't get my car to even get close to 14.7 without my fuel_req at around 6.5 or higher (currently at 7). deadtime on my EV14's are rated at .74 ms, which I'm assuming I'm setting in the injector characteristics as Opening time, which I have set to .80 ms right now.

My VE tables are quite high, ex. 43 for the lower left corner

My Cooling fans also aren't coming on. I watched my tunerstudio get up to 210 without any cooling fan kicking on. I'm hoping it's a setting in tunerstudio?

Any suggestions on what I should change? I've been playing around with different warm up enrichment % as the car is a bit rough until operating temps. I'm hoping my fuel pump isn't defective or something

32psi at idle is normal.

req_fuel is odd, I'm at 6.2 with 460cc injectors with a 1.2ms deadtime and 30%VE.

I built your MS right? what is active in the output settings? PA0? ALED?

i actually opened up my diypnp right before you posted. right now, it looks like ALED isn't hooked up on the board, so I'm assuming PA0 should be fan, so my boost control should be set to PT7? Need to hook it back up and then check my laptop

Don't assume! Inspect the board and see how it is wired. Compare to the pinout for your car.

oh, this is just off of prior information that brain gave me in pm. will be checking anyway since I have the ms opened up

EDIT: confirmed. RELAY 1 is PA0, which goes to 1L on the pin out. Boost control is PT7

So I set Boost Control in TS to PT7. It was off, but when I turned it on, It was set to PA0, so I'm hoping it was just some conflict or whatnot. Do I need to set the PA0 to cooling fans, or if the conflict has been resolved with those pins, will PA0 default back to the relay output?

ok, got those settings in, and I tried starting a new project so that I wasn't using all of my screwed up warm up enrichment settings and VE table.

I'm getting a config error: conflict with additional injectors. I haven't touched the sequential settings from what Brain initially set. I've only done REQ_FUEL, injector opening time. Keep in mind, I don't actually get the car to idle somewhat unless with a req_fuel of 7.0 or higher. The picture has it at 4.0 as I thought maybe it was complaining about that. with my 850cc injectors, it should be at 3.6......

I've had this type of error once before, but reloading Brain's startup map gets rid of it for a bit. I'm playing with it some more, but I had the car started, rolled it out of the garage on its own power, and then once the car got close to warmed up, it dies. I try to start it again and then the config error pops up. I found another guy's thread with the same error, but I have no idea how he solved his problem

Confirmed. I've opened up the box and there is the green module there. I can control individual injectors when in output test mode

I assume you turned boost control on, that's why. I messed up my locations for the output when I added the seq. board.

pt6 and pt6 are used by the seq. module for the injector outputs, you'll need to move boost off pt7 and to pa0.

then the fan can go directly from aled or wled to 1L, not through the relay circuit like it is now.

can you handle that?

i'm going to try again later today, loading from the basemap. I'll redo all of the sensor calibration stuff too. I just don't get what is going on. It ran before, enough for me to set the timing and even drive the car around the neighborhood while doing some live analyze. then it suddenly has a config error

the conflict error is from turning on boost control, since it's on pt7.

and yes it was the boost control settings. how then should I go about setting my ebc on PT7, since that's what pin it is setup for? do I have to switch a pin in the output ports first? such as turn on PT7 in the output and then turn it on under Advanced? not quite sure what to do

EDIT: AND I just got an email from fiveomotosports telling me that the 850's will never work correctly with my car at 250hp. I'm guessing cuz they're too big :( soooooo that's another problem tracked down

ok, so after dealing with more stupid injector problems, I have my 550's back in the car and had it running find yesterday with a normal req_fuel, and a normal looking VE table without crazy warm up enrichments. FINALLY. crossing my fingers that fiveomotorsports might exchange the injectors seeing it's only been about 2 weeks since I bought them O.o

now to get my EBC working without conflicting with something. Brain wired my PT7 for EBC, but then whenever I turn it on, it complains about a conflict with the injectors, so it's off for now, but I have no idea how to remedy this

You will need to wire the boost control circuit to any pin capable of boost control that is currently unused...

oh lol, I don't know how I missed that post. yeah, I can solder it. I was confused as I thought it was only going to be software. If I have to switch some pins, makes much more sense

Yeah. Gotta move boost IN to PA0.

Fan was on PA0, so remove the wire from pa0 to relay in, and the relay out to 1L.

Connect straight from ALED or WLED to 1L.

This was a noob move by me when first fitting those seq. module without remembering they use pt6 and pt7 for the extra outputs for the fuel drivers.
