Need help improving spool

2 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I am looking for help on improving spool on my stock block miata.

Car (99 nb):
6258 with low boost canister and stock EBC
MS3PNP pro
FF900cc injectors
FF LS coils
Square top
DW200
Kraken top mount with full 3 inch exhuast
Kraken Intercooler with piping

We are making max boost around 4200 rpm. This seems high for an efr turbo (excuse my ignorance if I am completely wrong.) It didn't matter what we did with the EBC duty cycle, spool stayed the same. We know the wastegate and EBC are managing boost properly.

We used the Turbokitty basemap as a base.

My tuner and I are stumped. All advise is welcomed. Attached is my tune and a 3rd gear pull for reference.

Try setting your 4000 column to 90dc as well, change 5000 to 4200, and set it to 50. You're pulling duty cycle right as it's spooling.

After that, check for leaks. You should also be running the medium can, you're at 13psi, and the low boost says 3-9psi from my quick google search. That'll probably end up being your biggest help.

We'll give it a try with lower boost since we hit boost cut at 90dc at 4000. We went with the low boost canister as I remember reading an old savington post stating best driveability was with the lowest wastegate spring and managing boost with EBC (up to like 2.5x or something like that). I will swap out the medium back in and see if it makes a difference. Thanks!

Florida, so there shouldn't be any elevation limitations
