Default Brain MS3 no Fuel pump

Hey,

MS3 from Brain on a 05 miata, the fuel pump does not start, where should I look ?

I checked continuity on harness and it is ok, I check the FP circuit and it looks fine (continuity checked too), I noticed that D8 and R16 are missing.

Thanks
Elior

Is this on a MSM?

Check if R40 is installed.

Not an MSM - it is a 2004 NB sport,

As I understand it R16 from the fuel pump circuit is needed and missing - I installed it - will test tomorrow.

In the pic you can see the missing R16 and that R40 is there.

It works fine now.

The reading from the AEM WB was ok just a little of on TS/MS, since the first time I tried to calibrate it, it does not read anything anymore ... the AEM output wire does read normal (changing) numbers...

Please advise.

Thanks
Elior.

hmmm. Nothing about the calibration should make it stop inputting. Is it possible the connection got severed when you fixed the unit? Or changed the wbo2 to a different input in software by mistake? What happens if you try re-calibrating for AEM UEGO again?

I tried a few pre-cal WB that are there, with no success, it was running good just a bit off, I tried to change the cal nums and the moment I pressed "write" it stooped responding and is showing full rich.

I will check the WB input settings again.

I think I got it, I disabled EGO control and I disabled the "EGO Sensor type", that would disable the WB input reading ?

yeah, even with EGO disabled, you need to make sure the sensor type is correct.
