This is the map i ended with tonight:

For **** and giggles i let MLV run its analyzer thing for cells greater than 100kpa. I generally just let it tune 100kpa and below.

Targets were set to 11.4 for everything above 100kpa and MLV spit this guy out:

I think there was something like 10 total cells changed, including cruising cells too. I was thinking i might plop this map in tomorrow and see what it looks like, since the changes were very small.

I am yet to get TSs autotune thing working so that's why i am still playing with Megatune and MLV.

Before autotune, I just let MLV do its thing.

Yeah, I've always let MLV do everything except idle.

Seriously?

Wow i thought everyone tuned it manually holding boost in each cell and tuning it in on either a dyno or a backroad.. Guess ill give this a shot tomorrow and see how it works out.

Thanks!

Every day. I even let it modify idle as I'm a bit rich there, but I do manually override those if I think it's required.

Always. Then again, I rarely go over 102 kPa anyway...

I've never touched a single cell by hand, except for the 6 idle cells.

You really should look into getting TS with VEA live working. I even let it tune my idle cells now and its almost 100% perfect.

I'll sometimes massage the numbers by hand just a little (the bottom-most row in particular occasionally requires this) but for the most part I let MLV do its thing on the road. My car has never been on a dyno.

What do you guys have your settings at, specifically, the WB delay.

I use:

Delay: 1ms

Cell Change: normal to start, hard - very hard once the tune is better.

Typical settings:
RPM: 1200 - 7200
MAP: 20 - 255
CLT: 140
CUSTOM FILTER: [TPS] < 5

Just boost:
RPM: 1200 - 7200
MAP: 85 - 255
CLT: 140
CUSTOM FILTER: [TPS] < 80

Just cruise:
RPM: 1200 - 7200
MAP: 10 - 110
CLT: 140
CUSTOM FILTER: [TPS] < 5

I use the TPS filter to filter anything below 5% so it doesn't try to tune when I lift or idle. Likewise for boost, I filter anything below 80% TPS so it just focuses where it counts.
