New to the MS game... wideband Q

Im currently in the process of building my MS1 ECU.

the problem is I am very cheap/Lazy. I could Grab the LC1 out of my Saab and transplant into the Miata, but My Saab is just about maxing out its 33lb stock injectors so with my fuel system so high strung my wideband gives me piece of mind.

I would prefer not to buy another wideband gauge setup at 200 dollars a pop. Can i buy a wideband O2 sensor and connect it to the MS ECU, get my fueling specs via laptop... or do I need a stand alone wideband and a narrowband o2 for the ECU.

You do not need a narrowband of any kind.

You do need a wideband controller, as the MS will not directly control a wideband sensor. You don't need one with a gauge, however- you can read the AFR off of the MS with your laptop. I personally like having a gauge, but it's not absolutely required.
