No rpm with edis
So i got everything working and now i have no rpm from ms2. I check the sensor to wheel distance and it looks good. Checked the wirie and everything is plug in. Could i have something set wrong? I used DIYPNP map for the 99-00 miata and changed over the ignition settings to EDIS on TS.

Here is a copy of my MSQ.
Here is what i fallowed for my MSQ and MS2 board mods. EDIS on a Megasquirt-II V3.0 Board Using standard MS-II Firmware Hardware mods required: If you're assembling your MegaSquirt-II from a kit (Part# MS230-K): Build the ECU up to trigger from the Hall/Optical Input. Jumper JS10 to IGN to bring the ignition output directly to pin 36. If you're modifying a DIYAutoTune.com MS230-C MegaSquirt-II Assembled ECU: No mods are required; our units are set up for EDIS out of the box. External wiring: Connect the EDIS PIP signal to pin 24. Connect the EDIS SAW signal to pin 36. MegaTune settings required: Under "Base Ignition Settings," make the following settings. Trigger Offset: 0 degrees Predictor Algorithm: Last Interval Ignition Input Capture: Rising Edge Cranking Trigger: Calculated Coil Charging Scheme: EDIS Spark Output: Going High (Inverted) Taken for DIYautotune.com |
Should i fallow this from Mega manual?
V3.0 main board: DB37 pin #36 to the SAW pin (#3) on the ignition module DB37 pin #24 to the PIP pin (#1) on the ignition module On the V3.0 main board: use the 'Hall sensor circuit' (step #50.a in the assembly guide) - jumper D1 and D2, jumper OPTOIN to TACHSELECT on the bottom side of the PCB, near the DB37 connector, opposite the heat sink, jumper TSEL to OPTOOUT on the bottom side of the PCB, near the center. jumper JS10 to IGN (this uses the processor port for the SAW signal directly), jumper XG1 to XG2 on the bottom side of the PCB, near the 40 pin socket, |
Okay i get RPM but only for half a second then it goes to zero and i loose spark.
I just got spark after using the Mega manual board setup. |
Also when its cranking and looses rpm it looses sync.
