No VTPS crew
Anyone here running ms3x with no vtps? I've run into an issue where everytime I start the car, it thinks I'm at 30% throttle, so overrun fuel cut doesn't ever kick in. If I mess with the TPS calibration numbers to get it at 0% throttle, it will go back to 30% after a key cycle.
What numbers do you guys have for TPS calibration? |
Ms3 but still no VTPS? Sounds like time for an upgrade ;).
But I don't really have any help to offer, sorry. |
take a spare 1K resistor or so (100-5k or so should work), and in your tps connector, jump the middle and bottom pins in the connector. will be the bl/lg and w/g wires.
that will keep the TPS at 0% always, then make sure you're using MAPdot for acceleration enrichments. then go buy a damn vTPS. |

MS3X and you are too cheap to buy a $30 tps...

And when someone wants to sell me a pigtail for a 94 throttle body. |
Make a thread about binary tps issues. Solution: Get a vtps to complement that $470 ecu.

Your TPS input is floating, so it needs to be pulled to ground per Scott's reply earlier in the thread. There is no software fix, as this is a hardware problem.
