Default DIYPNP idle problem

We just got the DIYPNP up and running on our CSP car. Everything seems to me ok but it never idles down after it warms up. We are using the 3.x.x. msextra code and the base tune from diyautotune. I would like to make sure we have the wiring to the IAC correct, where in tunerstudio can I turn the IAC off and on to make sure it's wired correctly.

Thanks, Darryl

At least for the 99/00 cars the idle target at the DIYPNP map is set really high - maybe that is what you would look at.

Not sure what car you have etc, but in the Megatune, in one of the drop down menus there's a idle option, check to make sure your idle speed is down to 950 (or whatever your target is).

I'd also check to make sure the MS is reading your coolant temp correctly. 160 I think is where it switches over to warm idle.

Closed loop or open loop?

1. unplug the iac wires
2. start car with foot on gas
3. keep it running like that until its warm (alternatively just warm the car up beforehand, either way i dont think it matters much)
4. let off throttle
is it idling high like that? if so, adjust the idle screw.

Zaphod was correct on the idle map being incorrect. That fixed the problem temporarily. After I fixed the map the car would idle down to ~900 after it got up to temp it was a touch rich but not bad and I thought we had it fixed. But we had been running the car with no alternator because we were still waiting on part to put the board together. As soon as the alternator was enabled the care pulsates during warmup (900 to ~1300rpms) up and down and started running very lean. back to the drawing board... Thanks for the help guys.

Most likely you just need to richen it up a bit now.

I added a little fuel to the bottom end and it works fine now. Thanks again.
