Default Causes of MSQ curruption:

I have been having some issues getting the basemap running on my 90 for the last few weeks, after finding out the ve tables needed to be re scaled, due to the mapdaddy mod. I then faced some cold start issues. Savington then suggested i re flash the firmware since mine may be causing these issues. (the VE table would get re scaled on its own) After re-flashing today and reloading a previous msq, no issues thus far.

So my question is, what causes these corruptions and has anyone else faced this?

My EBC wouldn't work due to firmware/msq corruption. Creating new files cured that. Not sure what causes it though I know that some USB adapters will do it as well as bad power connections to the MS.

+1 with the USB adapter. Was burning while driving once and the communications went down. MS got a bad MSQ and car **** itself.

One time i experience corruption that changed my spark settings from non-inverted to inverted. Almost ran the car that way but decided i better look things over just in case. I caught it before I ever ran the car on inverted spark. This happened to a couple other people I know as well, definitely worth keeping an eye on.
