I assume I have to convert to TPS (which I currently have on the 99 t-body). But what else is involved? I'm a retard, and probably won't be able to figure out what frequency to use since no one really knows what settings to use for the 99 valve.

It's been done before. AEM, Hydra, and other 99 standalones run it. The data is out there and I've seen it before. IIRC, the freq is about the same as the 1.6, but you might need to tweak it a little if you get the HUM.

FWIW my 99 idles fine too w/ no idle control crap. Well, it idles fine at ~800 RPMs until I cut on A/C. Then it dips to ~500 and will stall most of the time if I'm cruising and hit the clutch in and let it fall to idle. Most of the time it won't catch itself if A/C is on. Gonna wire up a fast idle solenoid one day.

I should add I have no AC or PS or any heavy electrical load items in my car. Idle ~1000rpm

Someone I cannot remember who scoped a nb idle valve, I can't remember for sure what it was but I think it was 500Hz, you might be able to find it with a bit of searching.

I am running an nb tb on mine and have never been able to get it to idle right on closed loop so I just have it run open loop idle, it sits around 1500
My prob is I also have lumpyish cams and no idea what to do with respect to idle timing to attempt to smooth it and make it catch itself better.

I'll see if I can dig up a map which will have the correct figure for frequency in it from whatever the scoped frequency was.

I drilled a hole in a TB and got idle but it would dip in a fiero.
