Default Fuel Pump and Req. Fuel

This might be a silly question, but I was just thinking - When I bought my car it had a JR m45 with BBK on it. This would include the JR fuel pump (I was told it had it but didn't think to verify when doing my turbo install). I think this would be a Walbro 255lph IIRC.

This would probably affect my Req. Fuel, wouldn't it? Should I ditch this thing and get a stock pump, or some other unit? Can I just change my req. fuel and leave it? The damned 550s are already on the edge of too big I think. I certainly don't need MORE fuel at this stage.

that acutal value doesnt matter if the fuel map is tuned for your current condition.

OK, I thought that's how I understood it. So as long as the AFRs are right, then the tuning I've done so far is taking the actual amount of fuel into account. This might explain why my VE numbers seem to be lower than most other maps I look at.

maybe. I had to cut down my boosted rows a lot when i added a 255. from like 120% to 90%, and i reduced my req_fuel a little as well. where I didnt have to retune idle cells.
