PnP, Target AFRs, VE table scale, MLV delay

They seem to be incredibly rich, is there a reason for this?
Also... Also the lowest MAP go from 19, 26, 35 My car idles at 33kPa is that not right? I don't really need the 19kPa row at all do I? Also.... The WB delay that you can set from 1,2,3,4 in MLV, my WB is in the decat pipe do what will I need this set to ideally? Thanks. |
who the fuck set that AFR table? thats stupid rich. maybe a conversion error from voltage to AFR.
the reason you need lower than 33 is for when you are decelerating in gear. you kpa will go down that low. can help prevent popping in exhaust i have mine set at 1 and its 36" from the turbo. |
They might set those up to be safe?? Go ahead and adjust them to values that suit your needs better.
When you let off the gas while cruising your car will see like 14 kpa while in heavy vacuum. My car idles at more like 26 kpa, 33 is ok. The delay doesn't make much difference when you let MLV adjust things, you can play with it though. |
When I take my foot off though it cuts all the fueling becuase of the over run so they arent really needed are they?
I'll leave them there anyway as I suppose they aren't doing any harm other than MLV is setting them stupidly rich though, |
Filter them out with the advanced settings in MLV. You can tell it to only adjust a certain rpm/map range easily.
|
Right, I'm finally getting there.
Because I have a wideband o2 sensor I set this to 0.....? "Open Loop Mode" : "Correction: kPa" : "go Open Loop @KPa : 0 " This means it will stay on closed loop always and use my AFR Target tables? |
You want it to go open loop at like 60-80 kpa, your choice. Closed loop is good for cruising and low load but when getting into boost and running high load you want it to run off your tuned fuel map.
|
OK thanks.
Itching to drive my car again :) |

you can try removing them but I bet you a tenner drivability will suck afterwards. There's interpolation on all the cells anyway so you lose nothing in reality. |
