Pre Built MS3/ MS3x; wiring and general questions

I have a MS3 that was pre-built:
https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquirt-18/buying-used-ms3-63599/

So I'm trying to read as much as I can to collect what I need for the install and initial tuning. Most everything I read mentions special Miata specific mods for different features. Since I'm not building this, it gets a little confusing. Does the pre-built MS3 need any sort of mods for a Miata?

Also, harnesses: the car currently has a 1.6L, but will probably end up with my 1.8L at some other time. I have the complete 1.8L harness to use for parts if I need. What's the path of least resistance? DIY BOB or build the DIYAutotune harnesses with the weatherpack connectors and the plugs off the spare harness?

I already have an Innovative Wideband, I think all I need is an adjustable TPS and a GM intake temp sensor. Am I missing anything? COPs will happen in the future - should I make the plunge during or after the ms3 install (would I need to modify the unit).

Thanks for any help.

Bumping this up.

Anybody know if this pre-built MS3 needs additional mods to go into a NA 1990?

Not 100% sure but it looks like you wont need to mod anything. The expander board gives you all the outputs for spark and injection plus a whole host of others plus inputs as well.
As long as you get the harness correct and all your settings right for your set up you should be able to start her up.
