question on building my ms3 board

so i built my ms3 board as what i thought was correct. I keep finding different things add this or that wire, so i am now lost and having problems.

which am supposed to use?

http://msextra.com/doc/ms3/ignition.html#tachint

or add

http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_arti...azda_miata.htm

it is a ms3 version 3.0 without the ms3x. it is going into a 91 miata running an 02 engine. So far the hardest part of doing the entire build is figuring out what i should or should not add. i have taken advise from a few different posts and now think i am screwed.

so what build is correct?

thanks,
Scott Fraser

why would you follow a MS1 guide for an ms3?

are you using the NB sensors? and do you have the MS3X board?

I followed the main part of the build for the ms3 but then found the info for miatas on another page. i did followed the ms3 build page but after the main build page is where i got lost. I do not know megasquirt and if i knew you and a few other people build them i would have just ordered it from you.

using

94-97 t-body
02 coils
no ms3x board. (think i should have ordered it. was planning on running the vvt tuner. didn't know the ms3 could run it until after i ordered)
plx devises wide band
i need to get the nb crank sensor, was going to run the factory NA stuff to begin.

figured numerous people have had the same build.. it has taken me a while to find what I was looking for and think i have found it.

Braineack of course has already answered the same question. maybe this should be on the DIY's website
https://www.miataturbo.net/showthrea...ghlight=pullup

pretty much i am doing the same build with intensions of switching to NB parts later but I just want to get the build going and driving.

going to finish it up now

thanks

If I was doing this, I'd get it running on NB sensors off the bat.
