Default Wideband not shown in Megatune

My Wideband AFR gauge isnt showing up in MT. I tried going to the Settings.ini and changing it to AEM EUGO controller and saving it but it says
"Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Megasquirt\MSPNP MM9093 without AFM\mtCfg\settings.ini file
Make sure the path and file name are correct"

This is MSpnp90-93. One thing is i do not have the ground connected to the engine. its on the chassi near the radio. I will change it later on.

Should my project have its own settings.ini?

I have saved a project and i do not see a folder for it, also when i open the project via MT it doesnt display any action/gauges.

Ive read the stickies about 5 times in the past 2 days and i think theres something im missing (obviously.) i am a now help me Please

My project never showed up-couldn't figure that deal out so I just save stuff/make changes to the files under the folders already there (I'm using Hi-res code so it's under the Hi-res folder)...did you designate it AEM_Linear ? I have the AEM Uego and that's the one I'm using. Also you might need to change settings under the MegaTune2.25\carMtCfg folder too. I don't have the PNP though-mine is Braineak-built but I'm using PNP software

Oh ****, you're on vista aren't you? It took me forever to figure this **** out on vista. You cannot make changes to files in the program files folder in vista unless you go in and muck around with them.

So if you go into C:\Program Files\Megasquirt\MSPNP MM9093 without AFM\mtCfg you'll see the settings.ini file in there. Right click it, go to properties and make sure its not read-only. Also, go into the security tab and make sure you're profile is set to allow changes to this file.

******* vista, i hate it so much. I'm pretty sure this is what your problem is, though.

Just autocross for the time being up in this area. I wanna make it down to your area for a pacific raceways drag event this summer for sure! I have a buddy that lives in covington (5 mins from the track) that i've been meaning to visit. Just need to plan everything together
