Recently purchased Turbo Miata, need some local help

First off I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section, but I am looking for someone relatively local to Rochester NY to help me fine tune a miata running a MSPNP 2. I just picked the car up from a friend so I am very new to the MSPNP but I have tunerstudio and have been reading and watching youtube nonstop.

The car starts and runs fine but it can definitely be improved. It has an AEM A/F gauge but when I connect to Tunerstudio it doesn't show up. I know I need to get it wired into the pink O2 wire on the MS and make sure the readings are correct on the software. The car seems to run rich and bogs up top. I have fixed the fluctuating idling problem with the help of the guides and videos online but I could really use some professional .net help getting the tune dialed in.

I am more than willing to compensate (>$500) depending on the time and results achieved. I am going to try to get the gauge wired into the MS this weekend when I have some time so its ready for road tuning.

I wonder if $499 will buy me a roundtrip plane ticket, lol

Figure out how to fix your wideband wiring and then start running autotune. You don't need pro help, anybody can do this shit.

Alright, Im sure once I get the wideband working I will be more confident but I wouldn't mind a second set of eyes on my tune for a little safety reassurance, not that I would hold anyone liable or anything.

I was pretty beat last night when I posted but I should have mentioned:

-1999 AE engine .020" forged rods/pistons
-700cc DW injectors
-MSPNP 2
-TD05-18G
-FM manifold/downpipe
-manual boost controller
-AEM water/meth, single injector
- AEM wideband (needs connecting to MS), boost gauges
-Bunch of other suspension/drivetrain stuff that doesn't matter for tuning

Like I said I am going to get the wideband wired in and hopefully the autotune and my continued reading will be enough but if someone is interested in making some "easy" cash checking my shit over and helping with a road tune let me know. Beer, food, etc will be provided as required as well. Thanks

Just use that money to pay for a tuner on a dyno

Google search pulled up several tuner shops in your area.

STM | CONTACT INFO

Thanks for the replies, I should have already mentioned that I called around to a few recommended shops and nobody will touch the MS. STM isnt interested and I even called innovative tuning in buffalo but they wont tune megasquirt either, even calling it an "unreliable" product, im not sure if they were trying to sell me a new ECU or what but both places offered to run it on the dyno but offered no tuning help. I will probably take it to STM to see what it puts down but need to get it 100% tuned first.

:withstupid: That.
Once you got it autotuned some, post logs if you're still not certain how good your tune is.
You really don't need the dyno for fuel- only for spark. You can deal with the MS, all the dyno operator needs to do is run the dyno, figure out your torque and listen for knock.
