Default Upgrade MS1 to MS2 CPU

I understand some of the benefits of the MS2 over the MS1 CPU but am curious if it's worth the effort and what issues I may encounter.

Currently running MSnSE1 CPU with 029q IIRC and my i/o's should be the following:

PWM IAC
PWM Boost Control
Shift Light
Cooling Fan
Tachometer
2 Spark outputs
Launch Control
Typical 2 inputs from CAS

Things I would like to add:

Second IAT sensor
Speedometer
Knock input
A/C relay
Meth injection based on boost/rpm/temp/whatever

Believe I have completely exhausted the I/O's on the MS1 CPU and just want a few extras added along with the 16x16 tables. Anybody see issues I've overlooked? Don't have my diagram book in front of me at the moment so I can't verify for certain what is wired to where..

You may want MS3; it has dedicated water / meth injection control. MS2 doesn't have a larger number of outputs compared to MS1.

I thought about that Matt but I neglected to mention I have a v2.2 board. Is MS3 compatible with the v2.2?? Have tried to do some research on MS3 but the changes are a little overwhelming.

The biggest problem with MS3 on a V2.2 board is there's no off the shelf case, and the holes used for the standoffs to anchor the daughter card in place aren't there.

Thanks guys! After some more in depth RTFM I'll look into DIY's MS3/3.0 board and build anew.
