Rev MS3 Basic, configuring VICS on NB2
All the reading that i have done points to running 2 wires to the vics solenoid, and splicing into free expansion wires on the MS3, or using the EBC wires to control vics.
BUT, i have an NB2, with a swapped VICS manifold, instead of VTCS, and its my understanding that MS3 basic can control VTCS out of the box, using the OEM connector/wires that are already plugged in to the VTCS/VICS solenoid. so my question, can i indeed use the OEM connector and where in Tuner studio do i find the settings to configure VTCS or VICS? cant find them. please advise, and if possible also suggest which settings i need to input and parameters. i read close at 2k rpm and open at 5200 rpm. but i could be mistaken. |
The output used is InjH in the Programmable On/Off Outputs. On below 5200, off above.

PA7 - INJ H Enabled. Power on value: ON Active value: OFF Output channel: RPM > 5200 Hysteresis: 0 Correct? |
Not that you'd hang around 5200 much, but I'd give it a little hysteresis? Hysteria?
