Default GM iat alternatives

Anyone use an iat with mspnp that was from another manufacturer?

I have a section of aluminum from a saab with bov a fitting i could use for idle and an iat sensor. the bung has a smaller diameter than the GM sensor I would like to use the whole set up if possible, does anyone know how to tell if the saab sensor is compatible with the ms?

it will be. you just need to find the resistance curve.

take the resistance & temperature measurements at a wide range of temps and generate yourself a curve. From there you can plug those values into easy therm. Look on DIYAUTOTUNE for a write up on how to do it if you dont know.
