RPMs bounce around after gear changes

Is this idle relayed problem? Dimitris told me it was lightweight flywheel problem, but I think it needs accel enrich. What do you guys think?

I'd say Reverant is right. Also post your spark table. Your advance seem to be varying a lot with the rpm oscillations.

That looks good- this is not the reason for the rpm-bounce. The bounce in timing is clearly caused by the bounce in RPM. Looks like your drivetrain is winding up like a spring, then releasing, then winding up again......
What type of clutch are you running? |

It's going very lean after each shift, but the TPS signal is also extremely choppy. That's causing the AE to go on and off.

My thinking was that the violent shaking of the car, due to the rpm oscillations, caused his foot to oscillate on the pedal a bit, causing the observed effect.
But good catch on the high AFRs. OP: Can you post a log (msl file), so we can look in more detail? |
He attached an MSL to his original post

I don't think that's your issue, but your AFRs often spike after a shift, going quite lean. Your accel-enrichment seems very poorly tuned. Also your whole VE tbale looks quite weird. what type of fuel system do you have? Is it manifold referenced, or static pressure?
It sill looks to me like you're having some mechanical issues- your whole drive-train is winding up like a spring. Can you run your stock ECU to verify? |
