Running lean AFTER throttle blip

4 Attachment(s)
Hi All,

An old problem of mine is now haunting me in the winter months. I've checked around the forums but it looks like people are having problem with going lean when they blip their throttle.

My problem at the moment is opposite that. When I blip my throttle, I get fuel, but then right after, for a split second, the fuel cuts off completely- AFR= 18.

This problem is only really noticeable when the car isn't fully warmed up. So when the car is at operating temperature, it runs like stock. However, if its 1 degree below operating temperature, this problem occurs.

I've posted my logs for your viewing pleasure.

Overrun fuel cut settings?

Don't blip your throttle.

41.6 cell at 1500 should be equal or greater than low map idle cells, at least in my experience.

Formula is easy (reqfuel)*(ve value/100)*(kpa value/100)+(deadtime)=pw, gair is irrelevant for now. If the number is anywhere near your injector's minimum cycle time (double deadtime, IMO) then you have problems.

More deadtime will make it richer everywhere. If you are banging against minimum injector cycle time at very low map, this will fix that. Have to retune the whole map, linear scaling doesn't work with deadtime adjustments.

Where do I make those changes? You don't think it has to do with the accel enrichment tune?

look at your pulsewidth, 1.3ms is basically shut off.

tune your fuel map -- you need way more fuel in the area outside idle. 70% load and 1500RPM is basically same fueling as idle on your map.
