the one that's pictured is definately purple. but as a guy who has a dozen of them, some appear purple, some appear to be the same red color of the contemporary 460 injectors, but have the 550 part number on the side. Denso may have changed the pigment supplier or something after a certain point. Mine all flowed *exactly* the same after servicing. I mean EXACTLY +/- 0 deviation

hue/saturation FTW.

If you are getting them used the underhood temps of rx7 usually cause the colored plastic to discolor...also causing the variance in color...

This may or may not help me....buuuutt where do you get dialetric grease from? I've looked everyhere and no-where seems to sell it!

Should be near the RTVs and such. The stuff I have is in a metal foil tube about 3" long. It's getting tougher to find for sure.

Which is kind of ironic. On the 90-93 cars (excluding California 93's) they run batch fire. With the link (and probably the hydra) you can fire sequential. BUT you have to reqire the stock harness, which includes cutting and adding a couple of wires.

So plug and play yes, but the installation with the link is NOT plug and play :)

I have no point really.

the LINK only fires sequential below certain revs and load, then it switches back to batch....
