Default Second hand megasquirt with unnecessary components soldered in - removal necessary?

My megasquirt is a secondhand unit, and it has a lot of the "deleted" components on Brain's miata diagram already soldered in. Is it necessary to remove these, or will it run ok as long as I do the correct miata specific jumpering on the back side of the board?

you don't need to bother removing them.

as long as the three jumpers are in the proper place they simple sit unused.

Thanks Brain, that makes things a bit easier. Time to order mod kits from DIYAutotune!
