Spark D circuit - toyota COP

Have just obtained some toyota COP's and tried set ms2 for full sequential. I used the logic circuit shown here on the old msextra docs:
Megasquirt (V3.0 board) - Spark/ignition output

I must admit I used 3.9k resistors instead of 4.7k on all 4 circuits as I didn't have any 4.7k. I used the 2N3904 transisistor for spark D from JS11.

Anyway wired the COP's up on the car and spark A, B, C are fine but no spark D. Swapping coils confirmed that all the coils were ok.

So my first task tomorrow when I can get to the shop will be to swap the 3.9k resistors for 4.7k. But it seems strange that all the other spark circuits work on 3.9k. Is there something else I need to do. Is that spark circuit appropriate for the toyota COP's?

OK I was just being a special person and missed the 1k resistor on JS11.

Still no luck unfortunately.
*I tried to wire them together and just run wasted spark off A and B and it doesn't seem to have enough oooomph to fire two together (in wasted spark mode if I took either plug connector off the other plug would fire ok though).
*Back indoors I wired up a set of audi COP's that I have sitting around and they worked on all circuits so I presume the toyota ones are a bit more demanding.
*Would a PNP transistor with the emmiter wired straight to 5v deliver a bit more to the coils?

Can someone point me to a circuit known to work in either sequential or wasted spark with the toyota coils (which are by the way 90080-19021 from a toyota yaris/echo)

Try swapping the 3.9K resistors for 330 ohm to 1.0K's.

3.9K and 4.7K is way too much.

I always used 270ohm pull-ups on those circuits.

Thanks Matt and Braineack! That was all I needed. I put 390ohm resistors on all of them and it's running great now.

Just out of curiosity any idea why the D14, D15, D16 worked with 3.9K but the JS11 wouldn't?
