Lightbulb MS3X Wiring for 1997 Miata

Hello! I've built a DIY MS3X based upon the guide at trubokitty, with the exception of adding the LED section of the board for troubleshooting. I've also been following the guide for the wiring harness also on trubokitty.

The issue is that the diagram labeled "MS3X Mainboard DB37 Connector Pinout" states that pin 8 and 9 are both GND. However, when I scroll to the bottom of the page and click "96-97" under the heading "Choose a Wiring Diagram", it displays that Connector 4 is populated with GRND from "MS - 9 -10", with no mention of pin 8. Does it mean 8 and 9, or should I remove the wire on MS3X mainboard DB37 connector pin 8 and move it to 10?

Thank you!

The note in the top right corner would seem to indicate it doesn't matter.
