Default Stock TPS not showing up

I'm waiting on my VTPS to get here, but I have installed my MS3 in my 92 Miata. I can not get the TPS to register at all in the calibration menu. I've tested the resistance at the sensor and it checks out. Any ideas?

That's because its a switch and not a variable tps. (it's not going to calibrate in ms no matter what you do with the stock tps)
You will have to get a different tps to get it calibrated and ready for tuning.
I use one off an auto rb30 and it works great.

But it should be showing 0 or 100, no?

No.

it will probably just show a '-' where you would expect to see values. It's useless for helping you tune the car. You need a VTPS for 1.6

DIY confirmed today that MS cannot see the 1.6 Manual TPS. The A/C idle up was set to kick on a fan instead of the compressor, too.
