switching to linux-keep registration?

I've got registered versions of tunerstudio and megalog viewer for Windows., and I'm considering migrating to Linux mint on my netbook.

Will my registration hold over the different platforms, or will I have to purchase them again?

When you registered, you received an email containing a code.

That code will work in any build of the application, regardless of OS. If Phil Tobin has a stroke and decides that it would be a good idea to release a version of TunerStudio for something really bizarre like VMS, the Commodore 64 or MacOS X, your registration code will work on that, too.

Excellent. Thank you very much. Time to dust off the Atari 1024 ST.

Great, I'll bring my Sinclair QL to the party.

TunerStudio is written in Java, so in theory any platform with a good Java Runtime Environment can run TS without recompiling. The hard part might be getting control of a serial or USB port.

I have no idea if JRE's are available for those classics, but I wouldn't be surprised...

There are emulators FOR those computers in Java. Not sure if they emulate Java support in the emulated PC that probably can't support Jave... running in Java though.

I miss Star Raiders...

if you run out of activations just send them an email, I had that happen cause I reinstall often or replace computers. He was pretty cool and understanding about it.

Though it would be funny to hear C64 SAM say "danger to manifold"
