Taking the plunge...
So I had toyed with the idea of doing a Greddy kit and building it up over time... but things have changed. I want to get the car together and sorted pretty quickly, and I don't have a ton of time to spend hand sorting things out right now-- We've been offered free use of a booth at PRI this year if we have a car to display there, on DynaPacks dyno... so they'll be making pulls on it several times a day and it needs to be well sorted and make decent power.
So I've been talking with Corky Bell (very cool guy BTW) and here's what is on order now from BEGI... # Series 3 system for a 91 Miata, GT2560 Turbo # Intercooler #2 # Downpipe will be opening up to a 3" exhaust # Add a 3/8" NPT bung for IAT to intake tube just before TB It'll take a few weeks but it won't be long now... and BTW, I've got a brand new GT2860RS (disco potato) sitting here in the shop too... I can play with either. If the GT2560 clears the starter on my MR2 then the 2860 goes on the Miata anyways... |

PRI is the racing parts industry's CEDIA. My car is unworthy, especially if the alternate is a better looking car w/ a S3. Jerry, so what ya gonna do for engine management? :dunno: |

PRI was awesome last year, would've liked to see more Miatas though. Hopefully I can make it next year to see this!
