Default software problem

downloaded and installed all the software as per the sticky. without changeing megatune (keeping it set to MS1), i get this when i try to open it.

if i hit no, it opens right up.

i do "copy ini" and change megatune to extra using the configure option and when i try to open megatune, i get this

i have MS already installed in the car, just need to get this figured out so i can get it started and start tuning.

I don't know what the problem is you're seeing. Not an error I have had to deal with.
Downloading the package that says "CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD" will give a megasquirt folder with everything you will ever need in preformatted working condition. Delete what you have and start fresh.
It's a large download, hope you're not 56k.

This is happening because you are trying to open MSNSE code but you dont have the MSNSE INI in your megatune folder and its not setup in the configurator for your cars profile.

Yes. Follow the directions.

The MSPNP link has the firmware files you want with preloaded easytherm settings and ini files in the correct places i believe. Trouble free maybe?
