timing stuck on fixed - help

6 Attachment(s)
Reverant built MS2E.

With Use Table set under Fixed advanced timing does not change. Ever. The only way I can get it to change is by switching back to fixed and changing the set degree. I've cycled between fixed and use table several times, power cycling the ECU twice between each conversion.

Log and msq attached.

All good now. Thanks Dimitris!

What was the solution to this? Same problem, with a reverant PnP ecu. Just reloaded the firmware direct via email from him and the basemap msq he sent.

Issue was resolved with a firmware update. Here's some details from Rev

The issue you are having is similar to another two MSM customers I have.

Somehow, the TEN input is activated.

This causes the timing to be locked to 10*, the idle valve sticks to 25%, and the CEL is illuminated.

This allows you to set the base timing and the idle RPM through the bypass screw.

Several customers forgot to remove the paperclip from the diagnostics connector at some point, so I then added the CEL to remind them to remove the paperclip.

I'm working with another customer to see why the TEN in active on his MSM when he hasn't grounded the TEN terminal.

Meanwhile, I can send you a firmware that restores the timing and the idle valve, however the CEL will persist until we figure this out.
