Troubleshooting no fuel issue

Edit after further research::::
Ok, I was very vague and very frustrated when I posted this originally. Which makes me sound like a big dummy, my apologies.
---
I am not fluent at all with Tuner Studio (for troubleshooting). After brainstorming, I had a lightbulb to run a high speed log (which is attached). This tells me the senors are all reading as they should.

Cylinder 2 and 3 plugs are dry. Cylinder 1 and 4 are black (and almost seem like raw fuel is present)

I am currently still using the nb1 coilpacks and shaved plug wires to fit in the nb2 plug holes (just wanted to let you all know this). I have an inline spark checker (blinky light) and it does fire on cylinder 2 and 3.

Backstory: My car is a 1999, with a 99-00 MS3. I have been on a mp62 on 14psi, figured I should have forged internals, so I built a motor. I swapped in a 01 VVT motor with forged internals and here I am trying for that first startup on a new setup!

Basic: no fuel in cylinder 2 and 3.

I have been running a Rev built Ms3 for over a year.
Last week I swapped in a new motor.
After the install, hooked up the harness, coolant,oil.. I go to start for the first time and it spit and sputtered.
After taking the plugs out, I learned they dont even smell like fuel.

In Tuner Studio I tested spark and injectors, both fire, so they are hooked up correctly.

What should I look into next? Kind of stumped.

I bet it will be something dumb but I need another brain on this one.

Move injectors around, see if problem follows.

That I also did. Something isn't telling 2 and 3 to go. Which is very bizarre.

Im assuming batch? Is 12V present on 2 and 3? When you did injector output test, how did you check that they both fire?

So 1&4 get fuel? Only 2&3 are dry? If so, fix your wiring.

What is there to fix? The injector harness is plugged into the main harness just as it was 2 weeks ago.

Say something dumb like shit cam sensor signal was an issue, one would assume no injectors would open right?

But I know the wiring is correct because I testedit in TunerStudio.

I changed injector ms to 1 from 200, so I got a constant 12.

Turning over this is what I get

CAM/ CRANK signal looks good to me.
Any changes in your tune?

I made zero changes, although I have learned quite a few new curse words in the last week.

Uploaded composite log and edited first post to be more descriptive.

Other than the 12V, do you have any other indication that the injectors on 2&3 are working in test mode? Are they clicking?
In my experience, if the tune is correct and the wiring is too, either all injectors fire or none.

Tonight my plan is to get a 9v battery and test leads to try and hear a click in the injector or some sort. If that tests fine (im sure it will) I plan on having someone else turn the car over while I use a stethoscope on an injector. Is this dumb?

Also, by looking at this, its safe to be reassured that my timing it set correctly am I right with saying that?

Took a break from troubleshooting for the weekend. Went to an Autox at Road America!

Anyway. Last night I did the following tests:
First I tested each injector at the harness for signal with a light, all 4 blinked at key on and they blinked when turning over. Then, I zip tied the injectors to the rail and took the rail OUT of the car and verified they sprayed when they should. Each injector sprayed at key on and according to the cam signal.

Next I hooked a timing light to plug wire 1 and matched the injector (plug 1 injector 1) and turned it over. They both lit as they should.
I did notice the timing light lit once before the injector pulse (the is must be the wasted spark at exhaust?)

So I pretty much ruled out simple stupid stuff.

Plan is to take VC off and check timing again and measure clearances for the shims.

Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated as I want to drive my car before it snows :(

Will do that tonight.
I am running 9:1 CP pistons. I was aware I will need to adjust for that, but they should fire right?

pdexta 10-11-2016 01:28 PM

I feel like I missed something, but it sounds like you're not getting spark on 2 cylinders that run off the same coilpack on a 99 car that is notorious for having bad coilpacks. Have you tried swapping out the coilpack?

Here is my msq. I have NOT messed with anything from the time I shut off my stock nb1 motor, to swapping in my nb2 motor with CP 9:1 pistons.

No tuning has changed.

If anyone feels ignition should be different please feel free to enlighten me.

stefanst 10-11-2016 10:51 PM

I'm still not 100% sure if you're lacking spark or fuel. From the latest development it looks like no spark -correct? If all plugs spark in test-mode you should be fine. Check again.
