Tunerstudio AFR bouncing like crazy
Hi there,
I have an NA 1.6L, over the winter I installed a MegaSquirtPNP Gen2 MM9093 for the 90-93 Mazda Miata - Manual Trans I also did a GM IAT and The problem I'm having is that in Tunerstudio the AFR Gauge is bouncing all over the place from around 10 to 15 afr. The Wideband afr gauge is not doing the same. I searched and wasn't able to find an answer, I also tried a few things like unplugging the AFR gauge, I get the same result no matter the circumstances. I've come across a few things for voltage settings with the UEGO, could this be part of it? Thanks in advance for any help! |
If it does the same thing whether the gauge is plugged in or not, your wideband input is probably setup wrong. Post a tune file and describe how the wideband analog out is connected.
You will also need to configure the analog input to match how the gauge translates AFR to a 0-5V signal. |
Make sure you have connected the white wire(0-5V) to your ecu wideband input, and not the blue one.
Where is the wideband grounded? Lastly check your calibration, under tools--->calibrate afr table, it needs to match your device. |
have the same problem,,i connected the blue wire and my wideband on my lap top bouncing,,thought their say if you have standalone you connect the blue wire,,

I had my gauge grounded to the block on the drivers side, and just moved it last night to the same ground as the ECU, no change. My device isn't in the list so I used air numbers I found on here. I'll try changing the blue wire to the white one. Thanks! |

i just did a replace and reconnect the white wire, and now both wideband reading the same with a little adjusting
