Default any good AFR datalogs?

I'm probably going to install MS tomorrow and would like to see a a good example AFR "curve" for a naturally aspirated car. It would be nice to see the same for a FI car too. I don't know where to start the gradual progression from lean to fat.

Thanks.

Here's an interesting pull (2nd-3rd-4th-5th) in my N/A 1.8:

jim's is good. if you can get the AFR to remain constant during shifts, that's good too. Allegedly it keeps shifts smoother and prevents subtle bogging.

the trick is that you DONT want to keep it rich when you lift off-power. I dunno how to accomplish both.

TPSdot instead of MAPdot. I never managed to get MAPdot to work well enough for me. "Well enough" being what you see in that datalog.

Jim
Think you could post a screen shot of your acceleration wizard tuning window, and maybe the accel decel trigger dot window? I'd love to play with TPSdot now that I have a variable TPS, but it might be better to have a starting point. Thanks!

Yeah, we can do that pretty easy. There is a user adjustable time delay for the decel fuel cut.
Mine's a second or something like that. So between shifts, the MS doesn't cut off fuel, but take your foot off the throttle for 1s, and fuel is cut off.

+1 on the tps dot stuff.

Don't! You have a turbo and TPSdot is NOT meant for boosted applications! Never the less, here's the deal:

Hmm, thanks for the advice. I was under the impression that the problem with TPSdot in a boosted application was that a small change in TPS might make decel cut in, making you run lean in boost, and that you can just turn decel enrich off when in boost on the accel/decel dot page; just set the "Turn decel enrich off when:" to the "boost" range. Something else bad with TPSdot in boosted applications that I'm missing?

Your temp sensor data is innacurate.
weather.com says its 94F right now in Kentucky. Your DL shows minimum IAT in the 60s.
Plus your CLT is way low.

Uh that was around 5AM about a month ago. And my CLT's are just right far as i can tell + i think that is after a restart as well. Notice the voltage spike's that should have been my first clue of the harmonic balancer being ready to fall off :( + you do know i just run ambient underhood temps as Pre TB AIT is useless for me with WI

This is an NA amp?

So 12:1afr at 100 kpa is the magic # huh (isn't that fat for NA, perfect for FI)? What afr at part throttle...15:1?

i would er toward 13-1 or less part throttle jsut set the idle row to stoich or a little more and the bottom row to 15-1. But the overrun fuel cut will take out 90% of your unwanted fuel anyway 20-19-1 the trick is getting it with baro correction or picking a vac low enough that you dont get lean surging on hills etc.
