vvt1 angle (cam angle)

I've got a mspnp and put a vvt head on and can't get the vvt1 angle to show up in tunerstudio. I've got the white/blue wire from the cam angle sensor on the back of the head wired into the 3V port. I've verified the 12V and ground. More importantly, it runs. But in tuner studio I just get a 0.1deg showing for the vvt1 angle.

I don't believe this can run properly (which is does) without the cam angle sensor info, so I believe it is working. But I just can't get a readout from tunerstudio on a gauge or even on the megalog viewer. Does anyone have any advice?

more info. I'm finding that it just displays the cam min angle and the test duty cycle. So if I set 50% test duty cycle and then put cam min to 275, I can display 50% and 275 on the gauges (or in logging form). But it just sits there. no movement, no change in engine sound to indicate any change occuring..

Set min and max to 0. Get the min in test mode with 0% DC. Get the max with 100% DC. Put those numbers in the min/max fields.

TS needs to show cam sync as green. Verify cam tooth using composite logger.

Thanks Ted. Same result. I don't know where to look to verify a cam sync (is that a on/off indicator on the main gauge cluster?). I'm an idiot with composite logger, let me learn and get back to you.

You are local, you can bring it by sometime if you want.
