VVT1 error at idle(MS3PnP)
 

Hello,

My friend was having issues with his boosted Miata and took a look at the tune using tunerstudio. When the car was at idle the VVT1 err bar in tunerstudio kept lighting up like a Christmas tree. However, when we drove it around it wasn't causing any issues. I have his tune and some logs i took when riving around if it helps. I can also post a mod list if needed.

tldr: The VVT1 err bar in tunerstudio constantly lights up at idle but, not while driving around. Is this an issue or can i leave it be?

Is your post a question or a statement? What were the issues he was having?

If you have these then why didn't you include them? Do you like withholding information so we not only have to guess what your question is but also take a wild stab in the dark at a solution?


My guess is that he should cut the violet/black wire.
