VVTuner into 96 MSPNP - inconsistent RPM while cranking
 

Got a VVTuner that's going into a 1.0 MSPNP that's had it's cpu upgraded to an MS2. Using stock NB sensors that are wired to the CAS harness, then intercepted at the ECU plug into the VVTuner and using VVTuner outputs back into the harness for cmp/ckp.

Cranking with vvtuner shows a consistent ~260 RPM, so afaik, those sensors are reporting fine. Tunerstudio shows a different story - 260 -> 0 ->1 ->260rpm. If this was a normal MS, I'd be playing around with the crank sensor spacing and R52/R56 trims. Verified wiring, VVTuner is grounded to MSPNP through pin9 of the harness.

Snagged a composite log - which seems a lot shorter than it should be (cranked for ~15 seconds). Any ideas appreciated, thanks.

Built a db15 bypass plug for the vvtuner, set up ms for nb sensors and it started. Changed the outputs from cas to NB output on vvtuner, still runs. Chalk up another NA running vvt (though having the cas working would ease emissions testing...)
