Default MSnS-E or it won´t work??

I´ve just assembled my MS and everything went fine untill the last test. :( Ì´ve followed the assembly guide for the v3 board but skipped the parts that diyautotune´s miata-guide said to ignore. Before I did the mods on the DIY miata-guide I tested my MS with the Stim I and got all signals working and the leds blinking as they should. But after I did the mods with the resistors several things don´t work. Now the leds aren´t blinking(IDL is on all the time but nothing more). All the pods are working accept the RPM-pod where nothing happens.
I haven´t downloaded he MSnSE-code yet, but shouldn´t I be able to get signals with the standard-code even after the "miata-mods" are done?

/Fredrik

It should work without extra for fuel only mode.

the Stim can't simulate a decoder wheel, I've got this message from Jerry about it as I experienced the exact same thing!

The stimulator v2.1 you have is a just released version, though it looks similar to the older v2.0 it was pretty much a redesign. I recently noticed that it does not provide an RPM signal if there is a 12v pullup mod on the ignition input of the ECU, which you have done for the Miata mods. If you were to temporarily remove that pullup (the 470ohm resistor from D1 to D9) it should test out properly.

I've reported this to Jeff Clarke (the stim's creator) and he said it will take a minor rework of the board to change this, which I encouraged he do since this is a common mod. He built it and tested it to work fine with the ECU built to B&G specs, but didn't have the resources (understandably) to test it with the various possible mods that are out there. I'm going to push that it gets updated though nonetheless.

Let me know if this works for you though! It should just need that CKP signals 12v pullup removed to test, then put back in place before wiring it into the car.

Thanks! Puh... got a little scare there...

Did you get the RPM signal and leds to work after removing the pullup?
