Timing engine with 60-2 wheel + 1 legged CAS. Off by 4 deg.
Finally back to looking at base timing since somethings not quite right. I've not been able to drive my 94 as I used to, because it is *off*.
I have a 60-2 wheel and a hacked CAS with one arm sawed off. No problem with sync. In TS fixed timing 10 deg was selected. The timing gun seemed to indicate ~6 degrees rather than 10 deg. I tried rotating the CAS but it did not change the timing. Does that make sense?
To change the timing one changes the tooth #1 angle? That is kind of coarse, isn't it? Is there a finer adjust? A 60-2 wheel has 6 deg steps. Or will changing the #1 angle possibly get into the adjustment range of the CAS? I'm confused. Guidance requested. TIA
