This thread made me laugh out loud at the "stock injectors" punchline!

What are you talking about... 18psi you always have to find a way to be a D$&@ in every thread on here. Common sense tells me ... the car is not any faster even with 550s. So it's obviously not running out of fuel.

Not at all, but now I'll be a dbag to you in your threads since you're stupid enough to not take the above helpful and logical advice and blither on in willful ignorance.

Must be really painful to be this dumb.
Common sense has failed you, or it would tell you that lean = not enough fuel = won't make boost

And what are you talking about cocky? I would love to meet some of you @$$ holes in person. Always talking crap from behind your computer. I have talked to so many people in the Miata club here that say... y I don't bother posting on those forums because they always try to make you seem like an idiot if you not a "legend member"

If you are leaning out, it could be the reason for not making boost.

Check plugs, if they are old replace. You could also potentially be getting spark blowout.

But in reality you don't want to be making more than 4psi of boost at 14.0 AFR. Thats how you blow a motor.

Also. You need to post a tune and log for us to help you at all. Right now I'm literally taking shots in the dark at your problem.

For all I know you could have a dead turbo. Or a bad megasquirt setup. Or some other issue. But we need a log and a tune.

Plugs are new with a 28 gap. And I understand that it's too lean under boost... that was in my original post. My question is reguardless of lean/rich blowing motor/not, as the Rpms climb-- pushing out more and more exhaust... would it not make more than 4psi if the gate isn't opening?

if your car has no more fuel to combust, how would it "push out more and more exhaust"?

Not if you are going leaner and leaner.

Not going leaner *edit*under throttle all the way through 13.2-5. Looking for 11-12 under throttle?

It could be that his turbo is spinning backwards, in which case, he is way too rich.

18psi is a good friend of mine, and I promise you, he can absolutely be an ******* in person, as can I or many of these guys. They are just very irritated that people that don't have basic car knowledge (which should be gained by reading words in books or the millions of webpages with words on them relating to cars) post in here, asking for help, oh and I'll put this in all caps so you can read it better, WITHOUT BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR CAR, OR LOGS, and expect an intelligent and helpful response.

Lets put it this way... what are you most knowledgeable about? Lets say its My Little Pony. Imagine yourself to be a long time member in a MLP forum, who loves being in the brony community, even draws his own fan art and shares it with his pony peers. The only thing you dont like about this My Little Pony community is new members, that haven't even watched the show, are posting new threads, asking dumb questions about how to get to the second season, or whether or not pony friendship is, in fact, magic.

LOL
I think the OP switched out the injectors to see if it was an injector issue causing the issue. It doesn't make sense if you understand things, but it makes sense if you're learning and trying to eliminate variables because you changed something.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: second page of the thread got more interesting...
